Fundermax

The architects had to create a cozy second home for 105 little residents. The requirements themselves, which can be found in building regulations and hygiene standards, are dry and describe general things. Everything that creates the environment surrounding children directly depends on the designers: function, space, form, color, aesthetics, etc. Architecture must be safe, educational, playful for the little ones, and comfortable for the staff caring for them.

The facade of the project features square windows, colorful “Fundermax” decorated bay windows, and warmth was also created by the decoration of wooden paneling. In the interior, each window has colorful “Fundermax” borders, and a variety of tones were used in the floor decoration and staircases. “Fundermax” HPL panels were also used for the internal partitions of the WC rooms and the walls of the washbasins, which playfully blended into the environment.
